Tsunami In Japan (Footage Of Waves Smashing Through Town), Teen Cancels Party After 200 000 RSVP On Facebook, Gravestones That Are Intended To Make You Laugh, Creators Of Runescape Working On Transformers MMO, Earthquake Information, Tsunami Information, Cyborgs In Movies Statistics, Apple App Profit Statistics, Dog Trainer Saves Dog With CPR, Batman: Arkham City Official Gameplay Trailer

Hello everyone it is Wednesday night and I apologize for the lack of blogging this past week. I have been in a lot of pain due to a minor surgery so its been a set back for me. I saw Battle: Los Angeles this afternoon and I have to say that I was expecting a little more than I got from the film. I’d like to begin this blog off with wishes to Japan for their earthquakes and tsunamis and show you a video of how intense the flooding had gotten. I know I am late and all but it is still news and is a huge subject in world matters. I wish the families the best.

Teen Cancels Party After 200 000 RSVP On Facebook

An Australian teen who was having a Sweet Sixteen birthday party canceled her even because the Facebook event page had two-hundred-thousand people who had clicked the attending button during the first twenty-four hours it had be up and publicized. Jess, the name of our Australian birthday girl had told the police that the site had been “highjacked.” The Sydney newspaper, Daily Telegraph, had reported that the online group Anonymous might have had something to do with it. Jess had intended to invite students that were in her age group and told guest to invite friends because she didn’t have the time to invite everyone. She told her friends to invite people on her behalf and said that the party was an “open house party as long as it doesn’t get out of hand.” Unfortunately this invitation went viral and even more so had her address written on the event location. Many of the wall posts had the account’s profile pictures as the Anonymous logo. This made everyone assume that it was in fact Anonymous who had mass-invited everyone. A seventeen year old boy was charged for the highjacking, but you cannot blame one single boy for this internet comedy and there should not be a charge at all. Jess canceled the party and stated, “its fucking off.” Terry Dalton, a Police Inspector, told ABC Radio that the only thing that the attendee will find if they show up to the address is police patrolling the residential area. One person commented: “That Corey Worthington kid has nothing on this.” This is also making fun of a boy who did the same thing in 2008 while his parents were out of town and five hundred kids showed up. According to Australian teen Jess’ father, she had invited a few friends but didn’t know how to set the privacy settings. This story is a good example about how people don’t act before they put things online.

Gravestones That Are Intended To Make You Laugh

CrispyNuggets.com did a piece on comedic gravestones, I thought it would be funny to share a few of my favourites. I will sum up the article with the funniest gravestones.

Creators Of Runescape Working On Transformers MMO

Transformers fans can now celebrate as there is now a new massive multiplayer online game which is based around these robotic heroes/villains. Hopefully you will be able to customize your own robot as well. I do believe, although I have not played it, that the console game War Of Cybertron had multiplayer death matches but I have not played the game so don’t believe me. This is Jagex’s press release on the new MMO in the works:

“Hasbro’s decision to align with Jagex speaks to the quality of their award-winning development and publishing team that boasts an outstanding track record of delivering innovative and fun online games capable of reaching millions of gamers across the globe,” said Mark Blecher, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Digital Gaming and Media at Hasbro. “We are extremely excited to create a dream team that combines Transformers brand stewards with Jagex development experts to deliver an epic Transformers gaming experience to fans in 2012. Transformers is one of the most iconic brands in the world and we are delighted to team up with Hasbro in order to bring our shared vision to reality,” said Mark Gerhard, CEO at Jagex Games Studio. “There is a huge appetite for an online Transformers game and we will utilize every bit of our development and publishing expertise to deliver a dynamic and action-packed game that TRANSFORMERS fans will find irresistible.”

I think its pretty cool that a company is now taking on such a big world that could be made into a MMO. Games like Rift are just ripping of games that are already made with different graphics. I haven’t tried the new Marvel Universe game but it will be fun to fight with your favourite super hero or villain.

That's it for tonight everyone, I hope you enjoyed the blog. I leave you with earthquake and tsunami information. Also two infographics on the statistics of cyborgs in movies and Apple app profits. To finish it off we have a trainer saving a dog by way of CPR and the newest Batman: Arkham City trailer
